No figure of speech, it was based on his own admission at #698. The joker has a real persecution complex. It wouldn't surprise me if he thought the boxes of Kraft Dinner in his kitchen were whispering behind his back about whether or not he uses Parkay Margarine or not.
The joker has a real persecution complex. You would't know it if you saw it firsthand. You're too busy ridiculing and insulting Principled Christians.
Suffice it to say your puny insults are not persecution. I know what real persecution is, because I witnessed it firsthand for the first 6 months of this year.
And I am sure, you're the type who would either surrender your faith in similar circumstances that I witnessed, or dish out the persecution yourself, given your disdain and mockery is not any different than what comes right before the beatings begin.
