Well, okay, we’re going to disagree on Romney.

regarding obamacare - yes, I do believe he will sign waivers...to not do so would be political suicide.

regarding the military - so he hasn’t served...okay.

regarding Massachuessetts economy - reports are mixed. Some say it wasn’t good at all. Others say it did improve under his leadership. I’ve read both. I look at it this way. I know what obama has done with this economy. Romney has offered his plan which counters obama’s (reduce regulations, reduce taxes, waivers for obamacare (up front), energy policy changes, etc.)

I know who obama is - an unAmerican disaster. We have three choices

a. vote for obama
b. vote for Romney
c. vote for neither

i choose b. because a. is insane and c. is passing the decision to someone else. I chose to have a voice. I believe it is my responsibility.

I assume your objection is because of abortion. I believe Romney is pro-life.

“I assume your objection is because of abortion. I believe Romney is pro-life.”

I have several serious objections, but that one is the deal killer.

If he candidly stated that his earlier, life long position was WRONG, I could vote for him. Muttering around about changing his mind doesn’t get it, and his recent reaffirmation of ‘health of the mother’ sets it all back to zero anyway.

You have your reasons to support him and you find him persuasive. That is your call and your vote, and I hope you find satisfaction in it.

I regard the top of the ticket as something like the Iran - Iraq war of the 1980s. I really don’t see any distinction that I care about, and certainly am not going to commit to either. I wish they could mutually obliterate each other.

I have disliked to one degree or another each and every GOP presidential candidate since 1988, and still voted for each of them and materially supported them when I could. Romney is the bridge too far, and I can’t. I regard his career as purely negative, just as is his opponent’s. I’ll not endorse or assist or be part of either one of them.

We shall just agree to disagree then.
