When was the last time we faced a communist incumbent in his first term?
The republican party has a problem - and it’s based on the fact that they believe that the conservative base will always capitulate and vote the lesser of two evils.
They trot out the argument every 4 years.
The fact that Odumbo is such a communist idiot is just the latest reason for the argument. A true reason - just like it was true 4 years ago - but an argument made from the smug belief that the conservatives have “nowhere to go”.
The party leaders clearly believe that conservatives have no minimum standards for the candidate they support, beyond the fact that the candidate isn’t a democrat.
And then they get angry and hostile to anyone who suggests minimums are necessary.
