I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

So when FACTS are posted (such as Romney’s near-identical record as Obama’s support of government healthcare, abortion and homosexual marriage) - your ilk immediately rushes out and insults and ridicules the statement.
But that’s what to expect from an Obama Dron-— Err ROMNEY supporter. Sorry....can’t tell you stormtroopers for your political messiah apart from one another. You all sound the same in your attacks on principled Conservatives.
That you believe this to be true simply proves you need to actually do some genuine reading and actual thinking, or perhaps you really do need a straight jacket .
Like SJB says, none of us are particularly for Romney, he's just a placemarker, our last choice so that the very present evil, the clearly proven evil, the intensely anti-everything that is good and right administration that exists now cannot have four more years to destroy this country.
It's called stopping the total insanity of the radical left. It's an actual principle to embrace that has merit, rather than an invented meme (Romney=Bambi everywhere in evil).

Just their public records and speeches affirming policies and programs both antithetical to biblical Christianity and liberty.

Screaming their public records are not 'facts' to garner support for your political messiah just showcases that the only one who may need a straight jacket - are those who have Baghdad Bob syndrome - and insist there are no similarities in Obama's record and Romney's.

You're doing a great job by the way, of illustrating why voting for Romney is no different than voting for Obama judging by the way you people for Romney are attacking anyone who disagrees with you. Even to the point of denying that Romney and Obama have the same public record of support for those things Christians cannot support without compromising with sin.

Given the specter of Obama haunting our nation, I don’t believe it’s possible for an honest, reasonable conservative mind to speak out against voting for Ryan in November.
I have no king but Jesus. No caesar or lord but Him.
Whomever gets my vote, must be a reflection of the values of my Lord and King.
Otherwise I’m breaking the First Commandment and putting men and government before God.
Since Romney does not reflect those values in any manner whatsoever - he’s not getting my vote.
