Romney/Ryan or Bust! If you don't vote Romney this Nov. then you will be casting a vote for Obama

“Truth is the new hate speech.”—“Creeping Sharia”

“We [the people] own this country.”—Clint Eastwood

I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.

My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.

Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.

Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

You got it. Hat tip to Phil Dragoo.

I’ve been reading his and some other peoples’ comments who’ve been doing the heavy lifting and the picture of DBA is pretty clear to me now.

Well said Gilbo_3! I couldn't agree more. No Romney supporter is going to get a Conservative to support Romney by insulting and attacking them and claiming that if they don't support Romney, they must be supporting Obama.

If anything, the attitude of some of Romney's supporters is probably turning people off to Romney.

Actually, they are driving people like me to actively work towards getting Christians to vote strictly Conservative this year, forever campaign against the GOP and to view them as no different than I do Obama's drones or Ron Paul's Mob Zombies.

They act exactly the same way.

There are a lot of FReepers who are either going/gone galt, are suffering under financial duress, or just need some ways to save a buck. I was stunned when I saw a thread a couple weeks ago where 3 or 4 folks had gone BK. While I’m not particularly of the prepper mindset, I have nothing against it and think that some of the lessons in self sufficiency and dare I call it street smarts are desperately needed.

I seem to be talking myself into it but I really need to find like minded folks who don’t mind sharing the list admin.

You are free to render your vote to Caesar Romney or Caesar Obama to your heart’s content.

I’ll render my vote to one whom is more in line with biblical and Conservative principles, thank you very much.

The 'attitude' makes us question their true motives ~ are they softening us up for a visit from a missionary perhaps, or do they imagine conservatives are easily pushed around.

At the same time I'm not at all convinced they are not mentally ill

RE :”’m not convinced.

Oh yea of little faith LOL

I am pretty pessimistic either way Romney or Obama. The stark thing is how inept the Republican party is at taking on Dems. Romney is pretty poor candidate but it's not all his fault, plenty of blame to go around that party of losers. Ever since they took the House from Pelosi it's been miss-step after miss-step. I know better than to get emotionally involved in a coming train wreck.

yep, the mitbots screached about his proven record all thru the primaries when there were *better* candidates that were viable...now they bleat and attempt to insult and ridicule anyone who dares mention the progressive liberal pattern and the blatant lies...

even more bizarre is that a good portion of these squealers have only very recently capitulated and started cheerleading for mittens...and theyre the most vocal and nastiest of the bunch... and sadly, the relentless attacks arent even because we actively try to sway their votes, but merely for speaking the truth and telling them where we stand, in an effort that they dont blind themselves with false hope that bambam will lose...

I will still write-in the name of my chosen King, Lord Jesus, and continue to prepare for the collapse that comes with whichever progressive statist *wins*...

cant wait to see how many nasty pings accumulate by the morning... 8^}

Well Romney and Ryan are getting tripped up in their own past words and positions when they try to get exposure by going on the Sunday shows and getting grilled.
It's a practical matter now, they are drowning.

Obama has it easy, his party trusts him. R+R are caught between multiple closing walls: the MSM, more moderate independents and conservatives who cant trust him. The RINOs who picked Romney are not saving him.

Dearest maybe pastor INVAR:

Anyone reading our exchange knows that you failed a simple test. You couldn't give me the very prominent passage I asked you about where the differentiation is made between being persecuted for your faith and simply being a wrongdoer. You should have known that in two minutes, or at least in 24 hours, but you didn't.

So you are pissed off at me for showing your ignorance off for all to see.

You continue to claim you are being castigated for your "Christian principles" when you are simply being called on for your stupidity.

What principle is there in helping to reelect the face of evil in our time? What principle is there in helping to give this disaster of a man another four years to ruin everything in this country?

Yep, some principled Christian, right.....that's a great principle you have there, helping to reelect the most anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-everything good and right administration ever.

I'm so happy for your purity, it does us all so much good.........

I continue to contend that Romney was chosen for nothing more than to create the illusion of choice by the Ruling Class, to placate the country into inaction because they wants a seat at the table of Obama’s Transformed Amerika precioussss.

As pointed out in other threads, Donna Brazille let slip on a This Week roundtable with Stephie Stephanopolous back in January that Romney was Obama’s preferred “chosen candidate of choice”. In concert with the media telegraphing talking points last year that “Obama fears a Romney nomination more than anything”. He is and always was the weakest candidate and between Obama, his media and triangulation from the Ruling Class - all of them together took Conservatives and the TEA Party out of the running for the nomination.

I would not be surprised that Romney was told by the Ruling Class Masters to ‘hit the mat in the third round’ and hand Obama the win. Heck, it’s already almost a foregone conclusion that his ads, his speeches are dull, dreck and uninspiring or even hard hitting as to what his message is.

The history of Marxism is that once they reach the level of power and control Obama has, they do not leave power.

Not willingly. And not by the threat or use of force.

Give it a rest. You’re a broken record so stung by my refusal to vote for your political savior and statement that I view voting for Romney an abandonment of faith and principles, you engage in infantile condescension and accusation to try and make yourself look and feel large and important.

You’re not.

You act just like the Obama Drones and Ron Paul Mob Zombies do when someone publicly does not support their political messiah.

No difference. You act just like they do.

Says everything I need to know. So I will view you the same way I do them, as one and the same.

And as someone else pointed out - you Mittbots fire all your vitriol and hatred towards Conservatives who won’t bow down to Romney. Why not go hang out where Obama’s stormtroopers do and fight them instead?

Oh, I know... it’s easier and more fun to attack principled Christian Conservatives and encourage the circular firing squad than engage Obama’s army. After all, they might actually hit back.

If I had to judge based on your posts, I think you hate principled Conservatives that won’t vote your way more than Obama and his Marxist drones.

Which makes you defacto allies actually. Enemy of my enemy is my friend kind of thing.

So carry on with the attacks and insults however. It’s actually pushed me to e-mail congregations I fellowship with about our duty as Christians to oppose compromising our principles to vote for either Obama or Romney this election.

So thank you and your GOP compadres for lighting that fire. I intend to stoke it and help the truth for the faithful shine bright this election.

Because our only salvation is in the Lord, not by voting for some politician with an identical record of supporting sin, policies and behaviors anathema to biblical faith as Obama does.

It's not obvious to me that he was the weakest of that group but he certainly has serious weaknesses as I have pointed out since last year.

I got the impression that many rs thought that Romney was the strongest, as they thought that McCain was in 2008. I heard the same crap this year here by real Republicans in person as in 2008.
Christie, Coulter, Rove,...all these establishment Rs seemed to believe that Romney was the strongest candidate. Where are they now? I saw Rove today and he looked shaken.

But Democrats here in Maryland all told me that Romney would get the nomination and Obama would beat him. Every one.

Yup. Gotta thank the GOP for all those open primaries where the Democrats get to pick our nominee for us.

Explains why they were so confident in telling you Romney would be the nominee and that Obama would beat him.

As I said, many many Republicans lined up behind Romney in the primary. I think they saw him as a GWB, maybe a GWB who would beat Dems this time. After all, all that money (R establishment) and those endorsements how could he lose? ...they thought. For many Bush is a fond pre-Obama make believe past , you see it here with many. The GWB lovers love Romney.

And don't forget that none of the R ABO candidates rose to the top and took command, One by one they rose and fell going after each other.

It's an interesting theory. It was the GWB White House and a Republican Congress, with many of the same senior Republicans who still around here in 2012, that gave us the PATRIOT Act, the TSA, Department of Homeland Security, No Child Left Behind, etc., etc.

And in 2008, it was another RINO, John McCain, who helped GWB and the RINOs get their RINO crap through Congress only to hand it over to Obama.

And here in 2012, Romney and his closest advisers and buddies are the same types of RINOs as GWB and his advisers and the RINOs on Congress that pushed all of that crap through and that helped give it all over to Obama.

Interesting how all of these patterns seem to be repeating themselves. Kind of worries me that in 2016 the GOP will run somebody even more liberal than Romney.

Rush predicted today

I've not been able to listen to Rush since Romney got nominated. I'm not worried about "total economic failure". I anticipate tyranny and more tyranny, no matter who wins and no matter what happens.
