I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

Well I am voting for Ryan. He is a good man. Romney is a god fearing man and a dedicated father, he ran a business and it flourished. Obama has done nothing but divide and destroy the American people and country.
That is exactly why I am not moved by the fear-mongering insistence that voting for anyone but Romney is actually voting for Obama.
I don’t succumb or subscribe to such plantation logic.
Besides, anyone who doesn’t understand that our vote doesn’t matter, and the outcome is as scripted as the RNC and DNC Convention ‘votes’ were by the Ruling Class oligarchs - is still stuck in Cognitive Dissonance Land.
Cook County is gone national and somehow everyone would rather pretend it has not.
Oh well.
The fearful are all welcome to drag Romney across the ‘finish line’ and pat themselves on the back for ‘saving us’, but the root cause of where we find ourselves is not even addressed and Conservatism will become a politically irrelevant ideology under Romney.
I guess most here already forgot about Tuesday at the RNC .

That's the weakest, most mindless argument I can imagine. Just because I want Obama out, and the only person with the money, organization and strength happens to be the GOP candidate, that proves that I'm a GOP slave? That's dumb. It means he's the only logical choice. Voting 3rd party, staying home, will only help insure an Obama win. If that's what you want (and I believe it is), fine for you. But lousy for America.
It's obvious what's in store should Obama win. And I cannot, will not sit this one out. I love this country too damn much. You obviously don't. It's your overblown, pretentious, ego you love more than anything else.

I’m in CA. I’m voting to let Romney know that I’ll vote to throw his ass out too if he screws up. I’m voting Libertarian. BUT- if I lived in a battleground state I’d vote for Romney.

You would be surprised how many registered voters there are that outnumber the actual population in any one area controlled by Democrats.
Are you noticing all the ads Obama is running in CA? I wonder why they feel the need to shore that up.

Yep. And reading his posts, I suspect his problem with Romney has more to do with his religion than anything. I’ve had issues with Mormons in the past, but this election is far too important to let our hatreds get in the way. Either we win, or we go down the tubes. He frankly doesn’t care. It’s all about Romney.
