The author seems well-connected, but the article itself strikes me as somewhat of a knee-jerk reaction.

That said, the thing I’m most concerned about is the ability now of the RNC to change its rules between conventions. As far as I can tell, this is an unprecedented step that has nothing to do with the normal, inside baseball squabbles.

Can it be used to squash potential rivals in the event of a Romney Presidency? The answer is above my pay grade.

The race is on.

The side have been picked. It is Romney, vs Obama.

For our side, we have a solid VP. And we have an anti-Romney press from the word go.

It’s not perfect, but it could be a whole heck of a lot worse.

VOTE.

Win.

Then we all discuss what to do in 2016, starting the very day (after) the election.

Until then, this just changes the subject.

Change it back.

I know some states don’t hold their delegates to the primary votes..The fight will continue..States are very jealous of their own rights.

When I voted in the primary I expected my candidate to be represented if he got enough votes..He did not in my state.

As I understand it..Iowa was won by Santorum yet their delegates voted for Paul..I would be outraged if I were from Iowa..Their state rules are in need of a fix.

I believe delegates must stick to being true to the primary vote. JMO
