Russell Nevins – I am Chief of Surgery at one of the largest hospitals in Las Vegas and lucky enough to be a small business owner. I am by no means independently wealthy, nor have any desire to pad a Swiss bank account on the back of anyone, even “the middle class”.
The introduction is based on a letter I sent to Bill O’Reilly. This explains the purpose of this web site.
I believe I can help Romney get elected. I call it the “Nevins Small Business Pledge”. I, as a small business owner, am pledging to create a new job the day Romney swears in. I can do this from my taxes I won’t have to pay if Obama is elected again.
I believe we can get 100,000 plus other small businesses to do the same in the next 60 days.
My website to make the same pledge is up and can now be seen but won’t be running until Monday or Tuesday.
Please, Please help me make this proactive way of showing liberals that trickle-down economics works. In addition, 100,000 plus new private sector jobs may sway undecided independents. I wanted to trade my Mom’s car for a new roof on her house. The problem is the car, a 2007 with 12,000 miles, is worth more than a private sale loan. A guy I know would gladly have done it as the materials would cost about $9k and the rest would be his labor. But due to liability issues and building permits and license requirements, we can’t conduct that sort of deal. I have to hire a licensed, insured company that pays benefits, unemployment, etc. There’s WAY too much government and regulation in our private lives.
He now has one sign-on that I know of to test his site with. It is ironic the Mrs. and I were discussing my need for someone yesterday afternoon. We both agreed I would not do it until Romney took the oath.
If he does not and Barry gets another bite of the apple, escape plans to Costa Rica may very well be enacted.

Haven't finished my morning coffee yet, so I might have this wrong. However, I think he meant to say the opposite. I think it makes more sense this way:
I can do this from my taxes I won’t have to pay if Obama is NOT elected again.
OR:
I can do this from my taxes I won’t have to pay if Romney is elected.
Wow, you guys are dreaming. Things may end up being marginally better under Romney but people on this site seem to forget what a flip-flopping, lying, RINO he is. It is just incredulous to me that a fantastic site like Free Republic has had most of its members following the sheep herder GOPe, just as they do election after election after election. THAT’S exactly why the GOPe thinks they can just continue ignoring conservatives. Thank GOD Jim and (what seems like) just a few loyal followers on here still are voices for reason. Good luck with your delusions sheeple. I already know what the whining will sound like on here six months into a Romney administration. I likely won’t.
Don’t matter who wins in November. If Obama, I’m hunkering down to ride out the storm. If Romney I am going to wait and see if the checks his mouth is writing clear the bank first. Then if I am working 70+ hours a week steady for a few months. I’ll consider hiring on help or raising my prices to make the same money in fewer hours.

We are not hiring while Obama is president, or while nanny state politics is on top.
We can’t afford it, and we can’t do anything while the tax hikes/Obamacare is waiting in the wings. Just the way it is.
