Great, the Tea Party came out for Sharron Angle too, none of that is worth a damn if you turn off independents and moderates because they think you’re a raging lunatic.

Its not possible to win elections without getting a good percentage of the moderates and independents, the same one’s he’s turned off with his crazy-as-hell rhetoric.

All the Akin cultists seem to forget that.

I’m starting to think you are a democrat visiting FR trying to piss off conservatives so we won’t vote for Romney. I already have counted 3 people who looks like there walking. Is that what you want; to lose all the base? I bet Romney’s numbers drop because he and the gop has angered the conservatives so much, they won’t show. I know the family and riends in Mo I talked to think people should stay out of there business and quit telling them who can and can’t run. You want Romney to lose? Then tell romney and gop to keep it up. Akins will win. Lots of us are sending him money to make sure he does.

Akin is a loser, anyone with even a little political savvy knows a loser when they see one, just as people saw Angle and O'Donnell as losers and the cultists tried to attack them for it as well. The BEST thing that could happen is Akin stepping down, allowing Brunner or Steelman to step in and take on Obama Claire. You know, one of the two candidate's that she DIDN'T financially support.

Akin got backed by Obama Claire simply because she saw a mark and knew she could take advantage of his foolishness, well she's gotten more than her $2 million worth.

Ultimately I want to see a Republican win this seat, Akin won't do it, he's toxic and dead in the water politically, he should step down and let someone competent have crack at it.

I'll make you a bet, if Todd Akin is the winner on Election Day this year and becomes the Senator from MO, I'll publicly admit you were right and leave FreeRepublic forever, now if he doesn't win, can I trust you to do the same???
