You're right about that, but my objection to this particular blogger is for a different reason entirely. Hit-and-run posting simply to get blog hits. Never takes part in that stirred-up discussion.
He may be a blogger, but he's hitting the Mittbots right where we like it.
Ooooh...how original and creative. Mittbot! How on earth did you come up with an impressive ad hominem like that?
Thanks for throwing cold water on an energized base...maybe if enough of these articles are posted it will become a self-fulfilling prophesy. Why don’t you join the MSM?
Maybe that gives you a clue.
Let me say this about that ~ don't be such a Mittbot!
Remember, he's only got 38% of the base who'll say they're "for him". The other 61% are "against Obama" ~ and there really are limits to what you can do with that.
Then there's the moderator lineup for 5 debates ~ Fidel Castro must have picked these characters. Best thing Mitt could do is GET OUTTA' THEM NOW, but apparently he thinks the moderators are great.
I'm not sure it's possible to fire up a base with a burned out former Massachuetts liberal governor. Fur shur Dukakis couldn't do it.
I hate to see Mica going back to Congress and its disappointing that three candidates that were more conservative than Tommy Thompson squared off against him and split the conservative vote.
I wish we could win them all. But the establishment candidates are usually better funded and sometimes are better campaigners.
We know we will be fighting the commies in the general election. We are going to have to get better at fighting in the primaries. My opinion is that we too often let the primaries sneak up on us and then find we have several conservatives splitting the vote against one squishy moderate.
The struggle never ends.
“only about 27% of Americans drink the TEA. The more sobering stat is that 24% support Occupy Wall Street”
I’m concerned that any conservative would believe these are equal movements.
The TEA Party is grassroots.
OWS is a paid group of do-nothings being used to stir the pot against capitalism.
Allen West, Tea Party hero kicked ass and took names. (As usual)

“The GOP-e doesn’t think that’s .....”,
Please, what is GOP-e? My understanding of the term would tend in the direction of ‘e’ alluding to a ‘lite’ self serving version of a hollowed out GOP. Is that close?
This sponger uses FR as a repository for his rants and hits to his blog. He never responds to any posts so not sure he even reads FR for the comments.
Here is his posting history and you’ll note it is nothing but post of his blog rantings. FR is a free site to promote his agenda.
Note the history:

Yep, I was trying to get him to complain about the posting of the full article (I have done it a couple of times) so then maybe he could be zotted.

Good luck but my guess is he never reads the comments about his articles. Just looking for blog hits, imo. I doubt there is anywhere else on the web where can he get the magnatude of free exposure that he gets via FreeRepublic.com. Maybe FR should set up a fee for using its resources as he’s doing.
Actually, they're pushing it to even stay in the party with that attitude, but there you have it.
Someone came up with "GOP-e" for "Republican Elite" because it was shorter, the "e" in lower casen clearly reflected our disdain for their pretension, and it took back the words "Country Clubber" and "Rank and File" so we could deal with the Conservative Republican subgroups who (1) Provide the permanent party structure (and to a degree, the money), and (2) The folks who do the door knocking and doorbell ringing, passing out literature, getting people to the polls ~ and all that sort of work ~ all unpaid, all free will, all necessary to make the party go.
I liked that GOP-e term and thought we should use it so I started using it all the time when we deal with that crowd.
It's different than Mittbot. A Mittbot is a Romney hanger-on or advocate who thinks his candidate is smarter than everybody else (hence the sometimes use of "GOP-e" in concert with Mittbot), and any criticism of his candidate is also a criticism of Mormonism, and maybe even the Snake River Valley!
So, yeah, you probably have that all figured out ~ being GOP-e is not something any sensible person wants to be, but there they are anyway. They are one of the smaller Republican factions these days.

This guy has a blog, and his stuff is there, and he drops some of it in here. I think he actually gets down and dirty in some arguments here on FR under a different name since some things totally unassociated with his name DO SHOW UP in his rants even though those were hot topics on FR ~ so he had to read us ~ and I think discuss. And he ain't alone.
In short, he has two pen names ~ maybe three ~ and he's keeping them separate for some reason.
I have only one pen name I've used for half a century. That's what I use for anything political whether it's here or somewhere else. My pen name gets Ramadan and Christmas greetings from the Saudi ambassador every year.
If I ever start a blog my pen name there will be different.
Maybe that gives you a clue.

You silly man, you.
