Debbie Downer, aka Debbie Wasserman-Schulz, was interviewed by John Roberts on Fox News Sunday. Roberts asked her about the Priorites USA ad that implies that Mitt Romney caused a woman to die from cancer.
In the ad Joe Soptic says
“When Mitt Romney and Bain closed the plant, I lost my health care, and my family lost their health care,” Soptic says in the minute-long spot. “And a short time after that, my wife became ill . . . she passed away in 22 days.”
There you go. Mitt Romney killed her.
Never mind that Romney left Bain in 1999. Never mind that Bain was run by Obama donor Jonathan Lavine at the time of the closing. Never mind that Bain offered Soptic a buyout. Never mind that Soptic's wife had her own insurance. Never mind that Soptic's wife was diagnosed with cancer six years after GST Steel was closed.
Never mind all that.
Debbie Downer claimed that she didn't know to which political party Priorities USA belonged.

ROBERTS: Do you deny that they’re Democrats?
WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: I have no idea the political affiliation of folks who are associated with that Super PAC.

You have my sympathy. As much as I want to like Jews, some of them make it exceedingly difficult. Loving them is no problem. Liking is harder.
But then, we all have our foibles and our individual crosses to bear, as it were.

It's astonishing that she can even sleep with herself at night. Or, that anyone else could, come to think of it. So vile.
The weirdness is that after many years, the German government finally allowed Hogan’s Heroes to be aired in Germany, with a little censorship. For example, they were overdubbed when they said “Heil Hitler”, with silly expressions, like “How high is the corn?”
Oddly enough, Robert Clary, who played Corporal LeBeau, had as his birth name Robert Max Widerman, a Jew, and as a child he was incarcerated in a French concentration camp. His parents and other family members were killed there, and he has an identity tattoo from the camp on his arm.
All four actors who played Germans were Jewish.
John Banner had been held in a (pre-war) concentration camp and his family was exterminated during the war. Leon Askin was also in a pre-war French internment camp and his parents were killed at Treblinka. Howard Caine (Hochstetter), who was also Jewish (his birth name was Cohen), was American, and Jewish actors Harold Gould and Harold J. Stone played German generals.
Ironically, although Klemperer, Banner, Caine, Gould, and Askin play typecast World War II German types, all had actually served in the US Armed Forces during World War II — Banner and Askin in the US Army Air Corps, Caine in the US Navy, Gould with the US Army, and Klemperer in a US Army Entertainment Unit.
I cannot get over how much this woman looks like a Cocker Spaniel . The difference is however the Cocker Spaniel is smarter than Debbie could ever be.
Klemperer’s father, Otto, was a famous German symphony conductor. Though not a “Hogan’s Hero’s’’ actor, German actor Kurt Jurgens and his family were anti-Nazis too.
