I like Paul Ryan a lot. He has sound, well thought out ideas to fix the economy, shore up medicare and stabilize social security. Ryan is a true conservative with strong, moral beliefs.
Romney’s choice shows his capacity to understand what is really needed to turn American around. Ryan is someone who can help Romney govern and be a strong conservative advocate in the administration when the chips are down. This pick shows that Romney isn’t half as bad as his detractors attempt to portray him.

the entire election will be based on the economy and Ryan is an EXPERT on the economy. He is also well versed on the other issues facing this country but his wisdom on things finamcial will assure Romney of a victory. Just as an aside, Ryan ate up Obama in a one on one face off some time ago!!! We'll be just fine with him
Of course, the libs were not expected to be jubilant about Ryan’s selection. What we are/will be hearing from them about Ryan is the opposite of what they really think and believe about Ryan and the Romney ticket.

As a political pundit, LOL. Ryan is a solid pick for Romney. No, he might not be as interesting as Rubio. But he’s experienced, tough, and conservative. Mitt “caving” would have been to go with someone from outside the conservative wing, like Pawlenty (a good man, IMHO, but a bit too liberal and not enough of a fighter).
Yes, it is true Ryan is going to be a bit of a lightning rod for the Obamanomics crowd. So be it. They were going to trash any VP pick Romney took, anyway, so why not take a guy who will present the clearest distinction from Team Obama’s “You didn’t build that!” policies? Ryan isn’t a doormat, either. You can bet he will give back as good as he gets.
