I agree- I met an entirely new Romney today- watched his speech live in Manassas and kept wondering where the hell has THIS guy been? Ryan is a terrific choice, he energizes Romney and Romney clearly realizes how this will energize many of us who were - while willing to drag ourselves to vote for him- were doing so grudgingly and because of the fear of four more years of Barry.

This choice and the way these two men conducted themselves today REALLY changes the entire picture.

I mean who knew Mitt Romney was capable of passion? He had it today and his speech was fantastic. I don’t think these two men have plans to preside over America’s decline.

Thanks for your on the spot report, SE Mom.

I hope R & R make it to Minnesota for a campaign stop. It’s doubtful though given this state’s blue history.

I like Ryan a lot and your words lifted my spirits regarding this election.

“I met an entirely new Romney today”

I’ll have to say I was impressed that Romney has enough self-confidence to pick a running mate who is smarter than he is. That’s one of the marks of a good leader. A leader who truly relies on the knowledge and brains of others to amplify their success. In point of fact, all really good leaders simply HAVE to be able to manage and utilize large numbers of people who have abilities and talents not possessed directly by the leader him or her self.
