15% UNEMPLOYMENT will ensure Obama will not see the support he got last time among blacks.. Will he still get the majority of them? OF course, but not hardly what he got last time, it will be back to more standard to even less than standard levels.

I honestly see no way Obama gets over 42-43% of the vote MAXIMUM... and even that number requires him to do EVERYTHING perfectly, and frankly his campaign looks like a fish out of water... utterly pathetic, just like his adminsitration has been.

I truly believe Obama will lose his bid for re-election in a way we haven’t seen since Herbert Hoover in 1932 and very likely even worse.

I hope you are right, and if you are right, there are several regular posters on FR that we are going to have to put on suicide watch.

They are all in to defeat Romney to "send the GOP-E a strong message".

That is, I think, the heart of the whole issue

Obama’s support was MAXED OUT last time

Hopey-changey dork sold everyon on being a new thing, and there was also the historical significance of being the first black president...

But even blacks are not all stupid enough to vote for a moron (again) because he is black- so he got all the support he was ever going to get from them.

Then there were the independants who were sold a bill-of-goods and are now horrified at what he has been doing.

He will not get any one who voted for McLame last time (who will suddenly think “hey he did a good job”)

So he has no where to go but DOWN

But that is not enough- Romney has to energize people- He needs Gingrich-style enthusiasm from his campaign - talking about bringin him on board to help balance the budget
