When he shot up the Aurora movie house, he was dressed as a black bloc member dresses. The new batman movie had an OWS type guy as the villian and was dressed in black. The probably mentally unstable Holmes may have been really pissed off at the movie and wanted revenge: explanation here.

This is certainly circumstantial, but it is more plausible than Brian Ross's view that a James Holmes of the Tea Party -- who was not the James Holmes who was the shooter -- performed the mass murder.

I couldn't figure out how anyone could tell the difference between NY and SD uniforms so I googled it....San Diego uniforms have yellow on the arm patch insignia.

I don't see any yellow in this photo and we can see both arms from one officer or another.

But Mr. McCown—the fact remains that OWS is not restrained by any moral code. So whether or not Holmes is in fact associated with OWS is irrelevant to the fact that his actions flow logically from the philosophy of OWS.

And I realize that most OWS sympathizers would not like this to be the case, but their desire doesn’t change that it is factually true.

Nope. It's the jury of public opinion that I was referring to. Time will tell. Odds are good for an OWS connection but the evidence is still very circumstantial at best.
