I wrote there office and told them my concerns over stanley ann dunhams birth certificate and they sent this back to me-
Our office cannot verify information and vital records filed with this office are not open for public inspection, the requestor must meet certain eligibility requirements; which is — must be named on the record, an immediate family member, or someone who can legally prove the record is necessary for the determination of personal or property rights.

I agree that the one Fred posted does look very legit. It is just that the left side is cut off and doesn’t match the image in yours so it must mean that 2 different people got a copy of the birth certificate from 2 different places?? bottom line is we just need to find some from Kansas from that year that uses that same form.
