"Obama the elder neglected to name is newborn son on an application for extension of his temporary visa to stay in the U.S.

Obama’s omission of the birth is astonishing and illogical given the fact that the acknowledgement of the birth would have fortified Obama’s application for an extension. The INS has long been more willing to extend the visa of a foreign parent of children born in the U.S., especially when the other parent is an American citizen."

From some reason, this point has eluded me in the past but now it make sense. Since Obama was born in Kenya either Obama Sr. "literally hadn't gotten the memo" yet since Dunham was in Kenya-to-Seattle without him OR he realized that the child being born in Kenya made the child a Kenyan citizen not an American citizen. Mentioning the child would hurt him more than help him on his INS forms.

This is a good point. BHO Sr. failing to attempt to exploit having a US citizen child...might mean he was fully aware that the child was Kenyan-born. In this narrative, BHO Sr. either did not yet know of the birth in late August or saw no advantage in trying to exploit it, especially given the dubious nature of the HI marriage to Stanley Ann.
