Obama in a Big Hurry to Sign Oppressive UN 'Small Arms Treaty' (Next Month!)

Obama and Holder are enamored of it... Hillary Clinton commited us to it... all they need now is Dear Leader's signature/ratification by
Harry Reid's Senate and the US populace has forever forfeited a significant chunk of it's 2nd Amendment rights.
Specifically, what's all this mean?
If passed by the UN and ratified by the U.S. Senate, the
UN Small Arms Treaty will likely FORCE the U.S. to:
- Enact tougher licensing requirements, making law-abiding Americans cut through even more bureaucratic red tape just to own a firearm legally
- CONFISCATE and DESTROY ALL 'unauthorized' civilian firearms (yet firearms owned by the government are excluded, of course!)
- BAN the trade, sale and private ownership of ALL semi-automatic weapons
- Create an INTERNATIONAL gun registry, setting the stage for full-scale gun CONFISCATION.
As the despicable Obama regime does all it can possibly imagine to restrict and intimidate us re. our 1st Amendment rights, we simply can't afford to lose our 2nd Amendment rights...
they're almost all we got between us and total tyranny now- not to mention poor AZ ranchers facing battalion-sized drug running gangs armed with AK-47's or worse right in their yard. What to do?
1) Join the NRA, if you haven't already.. even if you currently do not own a firearm -here-
2) Call your Senator and say don't even think about it... -here-
What a crying shame patriots are forced to fight our own president just to preserve what were once 'inalienable rights'...

My predictions about martial law will come to fruition very shortly after signing. My prediction is that not only will "Wanted Dead" posters crop up, they'll be serious about paying out.
Hopefully, the Grand Juries (for every district) will convene and issue presentments demanding the Treason trial for all signatories. Then, try them in absentia using the signatures themselves as witnesses to the action thereby providing the "two or more witnesses to the same overt act."
And secondly, politicians will crap their pants at the new militia movement.

First of all, even if such a treaty is approved (and I think that highly unlikely), it would be illegal - no treaty can override the Constitution, only a Constitutional Amendment can do that.
Further, with regard to the Bill of Rights, the simple fact is that the Constitution was only ratified because those at the Constitutional Convention promised that the 1st Congress would take up the issue of certain basic rights and pass amendments to specifically limit government power. If one of those first 10 Amendments is voided out, then it can safely be concluded that the entire Constitution is null and void.
In the event that the treaty is passed, and the (then-illegal) central government attempted to enforce its terms against the people of this country, I believe that many articles and threads like the 2 below will not only “go viral” all over the place, but that much of the advice or information presented in them will be implemented...none of which is calculated to make it easier to govern this country.

I'm pretty sure there will never be 2/3rd of the senate willing to consent to this POS treaty. Hopefully we can make it even more unlikely in 2012. Dingy Hairy probably thinks he can do it with 51 in reconciliation. And the LSM would probably back him up. And SCOTUS.

“Dude is on crack and high as hell with all his victories by SCOTUS.
I dont see him getting 2/3rds of the Senate for ratification.”
Always remember FReepers, 67 votes in the Senate are not required for ratification. 2/3 of Senators “present” are what's required to ratify treaties. Remember the Reich's enabling laws in 1933 were passed with the exclusion of targeted Social Democrats, Catholics etc... I would not put it past 0bama to make sure certain Senators will not be present to vote.

Remember that the first American Revolution began with government forces attempting to seize arms and supplies stored at Concord. Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
