and not one DC resident will think THEY should have been prepared. Only that the federal government needed to run to their rescue right away.
I live on the Eastern shore of Maryland, but work two hours away in Rockville, Maryland. Got a call this morning from work...don’t bother coming in, no power! We may be out tomorrow, too. Everything on the Eastern Shore is fine. It’s like living in another state most of the time. If the weather is good here, across the Bay Bridge, it’s awful, and vice-versa. The politics over here is much more conservative, too.
