It would so happen that I know Nancy Pelosi, knew her when she was a teenager in fact.
She’s no dingbat.
She is devoted to Nancy Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Nancy Pelosi’s kids and Nancy Pelosi’s family.
Her father was Mayor of Baltimore, Tommy D’Alesandro. Her brother was also very active in politics.
There are none no more corrupt than the D’Alesandros. None.
My father fixed up the D’Alesandro house as payback for Tommy’s pro-union voting record. That’s when I met Nancy, though she’s a good ten years older than me. She was a very spoiled, very privileged child and grew up to same.
Come election we all went to various precincts as ordered by Tommy. The union electricians would come in and somehow zap the machines, old-fashioned things back then I don’t know how that worked. This only happened in precincts where Tommy was in trouble/needed to carry.
The D’Alesandros were the royalty of Baltimore. Little Nancy, who grew up in Baltimore’s Little Italy, had to move to San Francisco to find the sort of control and corruption that she was used to but she found it and she does her job well.
Nancy Pelosi says whatever is needed, she don’t care.
She’s all for the Pelosis and if others too benefit, well that’s okay too.
