What happened to the martial law that Krintong was supposed to declare as you had predicted?

The democrats DID try, but didn't call for ML. They were demanding Clinton stay in office another year until the Bush/Gore "crises" was resolved. They believed a year would be sufficient enough to get things "straightened out" afterwords
It's not like they didn't try to keep him in office after the election was over.
