The nomenclature is superfluous.
Listen to what Napolitano says. She says that the DOJ, ATF and Homeland Security, under the direction of the President, are going to trace guns provided to gun smugglers for import into Mexico so they can prosecute US gun dealers.
They planned and launched the operation. They specifically were not targeting the cartels, but US gun dealers. Then they ordered the US gun dealers to provide the guns purchased for the cartels with US tax dollars.
Now they say they knew nothing about it.
Coke or Pepsi, the name doesn't matter.
Gunrunner was the official ‘public’ policy.
F+F is what the government was doing covertly.
