No, you leave it on. And yes, it does smell a bit funny after a while.

It could be rubbed in and then washed off after a while.

BTW - I forgot a VITAL part of the facial - right before the floral waters application, APPLY HONEY!!

I haven’t done this for a while so forget. Get some good honey in your palm and apply all over your face, patting it on. Than sort of tap your fingers all over your face for a while, and let the honey sit. Sometimes it drips a little, depending on how warm it is in your house. Let it sit on your face maybe 10-15 minutes, rinse off well and then apply the floral waters.

Gosh, I need to do this.

I suppose the cream could be mixed with some nice essential oils, a few drops. Hub objected to the smell, that’s why I stopped, but it was not strong, and it didn’t bother me. You only massage in a small bit, a tesapoon or so. I would get a pint of cream, and get those tiny plastic containers that are used to give individual takeout servings of stuff like salad dressing, and I’d freeze them, and one would last me a few days or couple of days.

I really can’t stand the strong smell of dairy products. Wonder if something could be substituted for the cream.
