... And what if, instead of going along, Maxine Box had said, “No thanks; I'd prefer to tell the truth about my best friend.”?

What appears to have escaped you is that no one went to any of these so-called classmates, THEY CAME FORWARD OF THEIR OWN ACCORD as the result of the numerous questions being asked right from the beginning - WHERE DID SHE GO TO SCHOOL? And where was she in that period from the so-called birth until the kenyan son of a goat herder abandoned her in Hawaii when the boy was two years old. ( chuckle)

Because when it came down to her education and where-abouts, all it says in Dreams is that the family moved to Seattle so she could finish high school.

Freepers in particular wanted to know, just where did she go to school, and where was she...

That's when you got Susan Blake and Maxine and a half-dozen others with their stories, and a video of the teachers being interviewed which contradict the vague Dreams timeline, a book that has no chronolgy btw.

You offer nothing. You don't read links. All you are interested in is trying to show that SAD was a teenage communist who gave birth to a child in Kenya.

Everytime I attempt to open the conversation into a wider region, you come along, without being addressed and with your snide attitute, stifle the discussion and turn it into a bun fight.

Plentipotentiary, if you care to write to me freepmail, I would be happy to continue the discussion. Sharing information here, as you suggested, has become impossible.

Nothing I have said is snide; please stop misrepresenting me. You are one-hundred percent wrong about my motives, so please stop misrepresenting them. I don’t want a fight, and have no idea what a ‘bun fight’ is anyway.

I asked an honest question which you simply will not answer. Nor were you correct in what you just wrote. Reporter Nicole Brodeur most certainly did approach Maxine Box. The interview is poignant, and doesn’t smack of lies. Who induced Box to lie so well, and how was it done? Where is your evidence that it was done at all? And why can’t you engage in a calm, polite discussion? I’m not insulting you; please stop insulting me.

‘...Gramps returned from the war never having seen real combat, and the family headed to California, where he enrolled at Berkeley under the GI bill. But the classroom couldn’t contain his ambitions, his restlessness, and so the family moved again, first back to Kansas, then through a series of small Texas towns, then finally to Seattle, where they stayed long enough for my mother to finish high school. Gramps worked as a furniture salesman; they bought a house and found themselves bridge partners. They were pleased that my mother proved bright in school, although when she was offered early admission into the University of Chicago, my grandfather forbade her to go, deciding that she was still too young to be living on her own...’

(excerpt, "Dreams from my Father")

I imagine that if Maxine had a genuine image of Stanley Ann Dunham after she was photographed here in 1958, she would have supplied it to Getty images?
