"...were being conducted...", not are being conducted.
That implies "the efforts" are completed with some results. If they aren't then it would (or should) have been worded in a different manner.

If you had read as much of these research threads as I have, you would have read recently, more than one time, that research is still ongoing. Most in the past, since it was started a few years ago, but still ongoing.
It seems you have now adopted the vocation of being a burr under the saddle. Useless to try to communicate with you any more. Too bad.
The work is ongoing. What is past tense has been forwarded, present tense is currently being compiled.
And everything you have read in any comments made on FR is from material that is generally available and totally public.
There are no secrets. The group found nothing you could not have found yourself if you had taken the trouble to look.
You can offer to assist or continue to make snide comments, I really don’t care - I am an Australian and your attitude leaves an awful lot to be desired, but that’s nothing new, I am being lambasted as a subversive on various other threads.
