It is simply not plausible that of all the kids in Stanley Ann’s HS, not a single one has stepped forward to say she disappeared after her junior year. She actually did have friends, and a reputation for being a part of the intellectual crowd in HS. Surely they would have noticed if she failed to show up for her senior year. Your theory requires too many people to stay silent, when they have no earthly reason to do so.
Or do you propose that every single person who knew Stanley Ann in high school/Mercer Island was bribed or threatened into silence? Or rather, that some were threatend into silence, while others were encouraged to falsely ‘remember’ the things Stanley Ann did during her senior year? This is the period when some remember her saying things like, ‘What’s right about capitalism? What’s wrong w communism?’ Were they paid to make these quotes up out of thin air?
Exactly.
A good number of her classmates also have yearbooks.
Not that hard in this digital age to scan and post pages from it.
(”Look, here’s me on the same page as the president.... oh my, we wore weird clothes back then”)
So what if folks see all the goofy stuff that got written in it.
