Years ago MAD Magazine did a singing history of American History. They did Paul Reveres ride to the tune of Santa Claus is coming to town. They called it “The Red Coats are Coming to Town,” One line I remember after all there years was: “They got a long list of folks to be shot, depending on if their loyal or not.” That was part of the mission of the Red Coats—capture the leaders of the revolution and hang them.
