The global warming alarmism that has pretty much faded from public concern always has been transparently fraudulent for those who care to look closely.
And now as the world’s nations desire to carve up the carbon footprint profit, you have to love the arguments.
“BONN, Germany — Another round of U.N. climate talks closed without resolving how to share the burden of curbing man-made global warming, mainly because countries don’t agree on who is rich and who is poor,” reports the Associated Press.

Equatorial countries produce more heat than those nearer the poles and therefore contribute more to global warming.
We should compensate them for geographical unfairness.

BTW, Climate change is passe’ The new threat to our continued survival is loss of biodiversity. (Follow up to the Biodiversity Treaty which we signed, but was never ratified. Even so, the USFS and other agencies have been administratively implementing it for 20 years.)

This crisis should justify more loss of liberty, the necessary undermining and reallocation of property rights for the good of all, fees to discourage activities that impair biodiversity, the loss of economic stability and a few step downs in middle class standard of living and an enlargement of the lower class to sustainable levels of consumption.
My only question is just when will feudalism be reintroduced?
