Unfortunately due to the ban on posting from blogs on the main pages this will only be seen by those who look at FP blog posts. I strongly reccomend looking at the original video. Chris hayes is a remarkable ponce even for lamestream land and a complete 100% military ignoramus.

I feel comfortable, ah, uncomfortable, about the word because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war
Watch the video and notice the upward inflection when he says "proximate". He realizes how stupid he sounds as he's saying it. It's as if he is begging for forgiveness as he says the words.

This effeminate little POS seriously must lose his job for making a remark like this on Memorial Day, of all days.

I’m uncomfortable allowing Chris Hayes to impersonate an American.

Another gutless pussy badmouthing those who made it possible for 'him' to have the freedom to be a public gutless pussy with relative impunity.

Considering the sorry-assed excuse for a “man” in the White House, no way. Sissies impressing sissies with their pedantic use of the English language. Unless - he pisses off the Moose.

Yes you are you prissy dweeb.
This country has been so blessed and so spoiled to peace (except 9/11 and Pearl Harbor), people have forgotten the cost.

...it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war... While the rules for logic and rhetoric differ, it still would be interesting to hear Mr. Hayes attempt to defend this point of view. While I salute the bravery of any soldier who jumps on a grenade to save his brothers in arms, it doesn't make me want to do so and it certainly doesn't make me want to see other young men do so. The only rhetorical proximity there is the useless fluff stuffed into Mr. Hayes's head by academic fools.
