Worth repeating. If the democrats want to tax expat companies I cannot think of a better way. I can't say I would fault the democrats either. And no this DOES NOT make me pro Union. Only 7% of the workforce is unionized and declining. This is about american jobs and national security.
They(Apple et al) are free to get in bed with ChiComs and we are free to tariff them. The problem is both parties have been paid off by the ChiComs so tariffs are never going to happen. Yes it is a conspiracy.
“free trade” agreements negate the ability for American citizens to impose tariffs. Congress has really covered their butts on this one because they just abdicate their responsibility to the trade representative and the WTO.
All our politicians have so many ‘investments’ in China they will do NOTHING to interfere with them.
