I specifically responded to a post that said there was a supposed difference between a COLB and a Birth Certificate, and that Obama had only provided a copy (legit or not) of a COLB. A COLB and a Birth Certificate are the same thing, but some refuse to believe it or provide evidence otherwise. We look silly when we keep screaming for the “long form birth certificate.”
As to what he provided, do I think its real? I have no idea. Some lawyer showed up with a copy of a piece of paper. If the Arizona SOS wants verification directly from the State of Hawaii, then good for him!!
You are about two or three years late for the conversation, the band has moved on. There were endless threads about it. Go look them up.
It's strange to me that your focus is on those who want facts. Legal documents that are certified and attested to by a real human being with a name and legal, governmental authority.
Especially, since these "supposed documents" have been made public negating all privacy laws.
Hawaii has repeatedly refused to do that. There has never been a piece of paper (Long, Short, Abstract or not) that has been verified by Hawaii.
There are only computer files with no provenance and a myraid of defiiencies (to put it mildly).
Why are you complaining about those who ask for proof rather than focusing on those who are trying to pass off manipulated computer files as representing a scanned pieces of paper which are clearly not what they are purported to be?
You want to argue about the differences between a COLB, LONG, and Abstract forms when NONE have been released. Only computer files have been released.
Arizona is NOT EVEN asking for a piece of paper. They are ONLY asking for a verification BY E-MAIL, no less, that the information released by way of computer files is even accurate and HAWAII is stonewalling.
