It is so much easier to read black and white. RED and BLUE are the worst color choices.
TO MUCH ALL CAPS. A Sans Serif font is not good for reading.
It looks like a Powerpoint slide.

I’m never setting electron on the Drudge Report again, after seeing him in action this primary season.
I don’t see any point in going to Drudge, or Martinez, or any other site, because the moment something is posted there, it will be posted here.
Looks good Melvin. Keep it fresh and keep it focused and I will do what I can to spread hyperlinks to relevant pages to bring awareness to the presence of an alternative to Drudge. Nice start, now let’s see what you got!

Went back for a 3rd look. So far, so good. I noticed the welcome absence of those ridiculous puff pieces that Drudge likes so much.

Not a bad idea: a couple of suggestions, though:
1) There is no rule saying you have to copy the Drudge format. You should have your own style (IMHO). For example paper.li has a very easy-to-use style.
2) You may want to reconsider some of your references:
- Craigslist as a reference? A reference for what? picking up a wh0re?
- Joseph Smith...prophet of restoration? Piece of advice: that will turn a whole lot of folks off.
Your site...your business, but the above might help you out a bit.
Much better after “polarization”.
I would suggest a Serif font though.
Use red sparingly if at all. For a mission critical interface red is only used for life and death items.
BTW the goal is not to look like anyone else, it is to follow good user interface design principles. A good interface is a good interface.
