It's safe to say that a strong majority here on FR do not like Mittens.
It's safe to say that a large segment of registered republicans were hoping for something better, something like a legitimate debate and primary process.
It isn't just safe, it's locked in, that all this simpering can only boost our illegitimate incumbent and his very much greater of two undesirable alternatives.

WE did not screw up - you will probably find no FReepers in this thread who voted for Romney in the primaries (I haven't even been able to vote yet).

It is the GOP-e that is working to get Romney the election. Go ahead though, bend over and do what the GOP-e tells you to do.

You know what your reward will be? You'll get another loss since the strategy of running liberals against Obama has already failed spectacularly back in 2008. You'll also get another RINO in 2016 who, based on current trends, will be even more liberal than Romney.

As long as people like you continue the 20+ year trend of automatically supporting whichever RINO the GOP-e nominates, you will continue getting RINOs.

Some day you may even be judged by a higher authority for supporting a man who pushed $50 abortions not even a decade ago. The defense that the other pro-abortion candidate is worse because he has a (D) next to his name will not matter. You will be judged for who you support.
