Romans 13

1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Politics is part of the world we live in. Refusing to participate means you are refusing to be obedient to the authority God has placed over us.

Our Pastor said (several elections ago):
“God give us the President you want for us; not the one we deserve.”

Would not voting against Obama be comparable to the servant who hid away the money rather than investing it?

I believe we do have a responsibility to use our God given talents and what God gave me tells me to do my best to retire Obama.

Even if you could make the argument that Mitt is just as bad (I believe you would fail); Mitt will still be beholden to the interests that elected him, same as Obama.

Think about it, How could God look at it as a sin to vote against Obama?

“If you are a Christian and believe otherwise, how did you come to your conclusion based on scripture and reason?”

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s
And unto God what is God’s.

And vote the commies out...

LIke most protestants you have a very shallow and limited knowledge of these matters. You should go and educate yourself with some study of reformation theology, with especial emphasis on the Two Kingdoms doctrine deriving from Scripture. Right now you're not making any sense.

From Romans Ch 1.

32 “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”

I think that about says it all. God is very ticked at that last group. If you vote for Romney then you are supporting extremely ungodly acts. If you do that then you are as guilty as those committing the acts. You are in fact sinning against God in a very grave way. You are called to defend Gods law. Not vote against it.

And you want to know why we are in this boat today. Because Christians rolled over and played dead starting a long time ago. Satin and his minions don’t play dead. They keep on attacking until there is nothing holy left. Take a stand by not voting for evil.

Well first off if you're not a Christian don't bother reading any further. This does not apply to you and your comments/scoffs) are not solicited. Leave now.

How does one respond to people of the land like you?

It’s your soul, you will live forever. Choose where you
want to go.

It is a grave mortal sin to vote for any person in office
who legislates abortion.

BHO and Romney are pro-aborts, maximum pro-aborts. Evil Obama shows the world by his vote he is another Herod.

Please God not man.

Is it a sin for you to use deodorant or toothpaste???

Some things don’t require the over exertion expended here.

Give unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar’s give unto God that which is God’s.

Is it a sin to smoke a siggie or pick your nose or scratch your balls in public? Is it a sin to help your neighbor when you know your neighbor is gay? Is it a sin to speed on the highway, to flash your brights at the car in front of you because they won't get out of your way, pissing you off? Is it a sin to be wrapped up in the needs and desires of the flesh? Maybe we're all sinners in need of a Savior, but once saved do we still sin?

Whatever is not of faith is sin... do we have faith at all times, those who believe?

Since you (and you are not the 1st to approach this issue from a religious perspective; see diogenesis’s rant a couple of days ago about how “Christians and Patriots” should not vote for Romney) I assume you are advancing the narrative in a manner of committing a sin 0f (COMMISSION) if one votes for Mittens?

HOW’S ABOUT taking the opposite track and asking all, if by staying home or voting for someone else (write in) whether one is committing a equally grievous “sin” through “COMMISSION,” whereby one is facilitating the re-election of a person who is TRULY “EVIL?”

James chapter 4 and verse 17. “THEREFORE TO HIM THAT KNOWETH TO DO GOOD, AND DOETH IT NOT, TO HIM IT IS SIN” (JAMES 4:17). THE SIN OF FAILING TO DO WHAT WE OUGHT TO DO

All it takes for EVIL.....

If anything, it should be a sin if you vote for Obama a second time, or if this would be your first time.

You are over thinking this thing. Obama has launched a direct frontal attack on Christianity through his health care bill. There is no indication that he would relent if he is reelected.

K,I.S.S. - (keep it simple, stupid) usually works pretty well for me, when I try to decide what to do.

ABO.

Building (rebuilding?) a conservative movement is all well and good. But, you do not start remodeling your house while it is on fire.
