Gee I dunno? Maybe we should find out what their executive secretaries tax rates are first?

The best thing for Apple: leave CA and move to TX.

    Ummmm, no.
 1. Eliminate ALL corporate tax.
1a. Eliminate ALL depletion allowances and depreciation allowances.
 2. Eliminate ALL current IRS regulations.
 3. Set the individual tax rate at 10% regardless of income.
3a. Perquisites at taxed at 10% of cost.
3b. Withhold at the rate of 11%, to get a refund you have to file taxes, but there is no legal imperative to file.
 4. Tax ALL money coming into the country at 0% (yes, ZERO%).
 5. Tax ALL money leaving the country at 10%.

Should Apple pay more taxes than they are legally required to pay based on the NY Times hit piece article? PING! Especially considering the article was basing their argument on the taxes paid in 2011 on 2010 earnings but using 2011's income to calculate the "shockingly low" tax rate, AFTER Apple had doubled its profits. The taxes Apple will pay this year, will reflect those increased earning of 2011, you NY Times dummies!

Apple tax rate Ping!

The best thing for Apple: leave CA and move to TX At least Apple already has some pretty big operations in Austin.

Apple, as a publicly traded company, is obligated to act in the best interests of its shareholders, not whiny NYT reporters.

Given the attitude of the California politicians to business in general, Apple should pull the plug on Cal-i-for-nia and move operations to Texas.
There are a bunch of Fortune 500 companies in IL mulling the exact same issues after the Donkey Governor's tax hikes on personal income and businesses.

Lets not forget that the former VP of the USA, Alfonse Gore is on the BoD of Apple. That is why Apple's stock has been experiencing global warming.

To: Mark Landsbaum
Apple “sidesteps” taxes just like millions of law-abiding taxpayers do every year - they take the acceptable and allowable deductions for business expenses and other perfectly legal means of reducing tax burden.
This is no different than any other company, large or small -
After all, Jesus said to “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s...” He didn’t say to render unto Caesar more than is his...

But that’s racist (at least that is what the raving Socialist will scream from the rooftops). Remember - Liberal code. In this case:

Exactly! It’s racist to prevent “African-Americans” from having skin in the game!
Everyone, no matter how rich or poor should be allowed to invest in America.
