They have to prove Zimmerman started the fight. I've seen no evidence of things going down other than what Zimmerman has said and neither did the prosecutor before the lynch mobs showed up and had to be appeased.

I agree. What's more, I think Trayvon’s friend DeeDee inadvertently supported Zimmerman's side of the story in her ABC interview. She said that Trayvon asked Zimmerman why Zimmerman was following him, and Zimmerman responded by asking why Trayvon was there. Then she heard no more conversation and the phone went dead. It makes more sense to me that Trayvon would have answered Zimmerman's question with a punch than that Zimmerman would have asked a question and then punched Trayvon without waiting for an answer.
