Last week, media outlets filed motions to unseal the records concerning the arrest of George Zimmerman in connection with the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Sooner than later, the public will see what evidence special prosecutor Angela Corey has that warranted the filing of second-degree murder charges.
Absent something new in Corey's file, one of America's best-known lawyers feels the case against Zimmerman is doomed. Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz believes that the murder charges will be thrown out.
In a recent interview with me, Dershowitz acknowledged the low evidentiary bar necessary at this juncture but still opined that Corey has not met it.
"Most affidavits of probable cause are very thin," Dershowitz said. "This is so thin that it won't make it past the judge on a second-degree murder charge. There is simply nothing in there that would justify second-degree murder. The elements of the crime aren't established ...

Already tried by the media in the court of public opinion. Trial is over. Just going through the motions. Zimmerman is toast.

Never thought I’d see the day where I could say Amen to Derchewitz. I hope they throw Corey in jail, the mini Hitler prosecutor, and sue Trayvoooon’s mama and baby daddy for blood libel. And since Mama Trayvon trademarked everything Travyon every penny she gets should go to Zimmerman for her ruining his life. Wow, if there is a God that women will receive NO mercy. She raised a gang banger drug dealing thug, and has created the most racially tense atmosphere in the US since the 1960s. She should be charged with inciting violence. I blame every black on white crime in the name of Trayvon on his welfare trash mother.

He also said Corey could legally be charged for criminal prosecution.

I don't disbelieve you for a second. However I am sure that the chickensh_t Repub governor could assign FL state troopers to protect Zimmerman, but then he appointed Corey in the first place, rather than using the FL AG. Another example of a whimpering, pc, coward GOPer.
He has no official protection?
What the fiends are doing to that man and his family is so horrible there are no words I can find to express myself.
Maybe Scott set Corey up the bomb.

A woman called the Mike Berry show a few weeks back and said “Sheila Jackson-Lee has a bad case of ebonic plague.”
Riots were going to happen, Trayvon or no Trayvon. The Black racists are stoked up, attacking whites in race mobs in the cities since last summer. Obama and his radicals are playing the “Arab Spring” protest riot card.
He’ll do something to set them off if the Trayvon thing does not blow up. I read “Republicans” were trying to cut free food programs. That would give them the excuse to launch riots.

I would not count on Zimmerman being found not guiltyt. He will be tried before a kangeroo court and bought jury. It is all political since the lynch mob was reved up.
