A sad commentary is the fact that during my lifetime this nation has elected 13 presidents (Ford, of course, doesn't count (for much of anything), and only one was a winner: REAGAN.

If this reading of the treaty is correct and the Vattel interpretation of "natural born citizen" is also correct then it's possible that many of our presidents were ineligible for the office, having had British-born, Irish-born, Scots-born, or Canadian-born mothers or fathers, so you should work on having Jackson, or Buchanan, or Arthur, or Wilson, or Hoover stripped of their titles, and expunged from our history.

But of course this reading and the Vattel interpretation are not correct -- or at least are highly unlikely to stand up in court.

Unfortunately there is nothing the public can do to force the issue and NO penalties will be paid for those elected official who refused to do there sworn duty.

This is a photo that I saw and saved in Dec 2009 when the President took his family to Hawaii for Christmas. They had left a movie theatre and he was wearing eyeglasses.

Yet, his 2010 and 2011 annual physical report states that he has 20/20 vision with no correction warranted.
