No matter how many times you attempt to try to explain to a Leftist that Clinton was impeached for perjury, and not for cheating on his wife, they bring back some variation of the Big Lie in the quote you presented.
They lie reflexively to support that Big Lie of the Left, and any number of others. It is who they are. They live a Big Lie.
The thought occurs to me that you could probably get their heads to explode if you were to make the following two points, the first of which they’d probably agree to fairly easily:
1. When The Bent One lied about sex, he was just trying to pretend it didn’t happen, to obscure the fact, to cover it up.
2. As we learned from Nixon and Watergate, “It’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up”.
You’ve now drawn a correlation between their most-loved president and their most-hated president.
