The “estabs” each have one vote. Until now, we’ve been splitting our Conservative vote, and turning our energies against each other.

Half of the delegates are still undecided. All of the Conservative Senate and House Candidates need our support.

I’m calling for a Conservative coalition, from this point forward.

Do you have an opportunity to reform your State Republican Party? The problem in Virginia was the requirements for getting on the ballot, written or declared by the Party.

Two party system is done broke. They are so obviously working together...in cahoots...corrupted. Need to shake things up so if the Constitution Party or the Tea Party or whatever gets off the ground I think they will find a lot of support.

“Just a plea for unity”

Funny, I don`t remember that plea from the estabs when Romney was spreading his toxic waste lies all over the landscape vs. the conservative contenders.

You obviously have conservatives confused with Republicans. Lately that is not the same thing. To a Conservitive, voting for Romney is also a loss. In fact, it can and very liklely will be MORE of a loss than voting for Obama. At least with Obama, conservatives can oppose through the House and Senate. You can’t do that and it wont happen if the President is from your party.

Since there is little difference between Obama and Romney, I’d rather 4 years of Obama than 8 years of Romney.

“Excellent point and analysis!
I will also be considering that would I rather vote for someone
who can’t get re-elected and thus no longer cares what
the public opinion of him is or someone who is somewhat
guarded because they want a second four years. I think I
know which one is a somewhat safer choice.”

Another excellent point!

The problem with Romney’s slower rate than Obama is that if he gets elected, he will likely have 8 years to work on it. At least Obama can be held to 4 years.

Sorry, fork. I am not a moderator. And even if I was I would not zot the doc.

Not sure what fears you have that lead to you to that “knnepad” remark. But I guess you felt very threatened in some small minded way that I actually “agreed” with doc and her feelings that she was making her opus with her very unpopular ‘Repubs First’ ideas.

You can honestly say that with a straight face??? You would rather live under the current Marxist racist in chief along with his AG and other minions he has appointed? Sorry, I do not understand your rational.

You cannot win the "middle" if you don't solidify your base first. The middle will always be a flip of the quarter.

The GOP gave a big FU to their base... Again. Time for them to go the way of the Dodo bird.

Time for the Tea Party to become the next Conservative Party.

Hi hocndoc,

Romney is not a conservative. Moreover, he has a radical pro-abortion record. I am a pro-life, religious conservative.

I hope you understand that I am not ABLE to support him. His record is so contrary to my beliefs, that it would require me to go reject my religion in order to support Romney.

Please remain open to campaigning for a 3rd party...a conservative candidate...so that we don’t give a greater foothold to the forces of darkness.

Thanks for listening.

Xzins

The choice is:

How much damage can Obama do in the remaining 4 years
vs
How much damage will Romney do in 8 years

When there is not much difference between the to, get Obama out after 4 is the better option.

I’m voting for Gingrich, if he’s still on the ballot.

He’s definitely got problem or two, but I remember his work with the Tea Party in Texas in 2010, the “Contract from America.”

Half the delegates are still undecided.

In my opinion, a bad Republican is always preferable to a good Democrat.

That kind of logic, is precisely why we are where we are today.

And, your 50-50 odds are too generous by about 49%.

I appreciate the bumps, but wish we could spend our energies finding common ground.

My state has already voted.

Gingrich has a solid pro-life background and has been outspoken about his continued pro-life beliefs.

He is clearly ready to step into the presidency right now.

He has a proven record of governing as a conservative.

I can support him.
