Just not the one he wanted, wherewhites once again fall to their knees, wearing sackcloth and tearing their hair as they apologise yet again for the actions of a minority of wealthy slave owners in the long-ago past. (We’ll just let the fact that practically every erhny on earth has at one time or another been subjected to slavery, or that slavery is still occurring in Africa, or that many, if not most whites these days, have ancestors who came here after the Civil War and had no part in slavery, or that whites are the only race to shed theirmown blood to stop slavery, or that we’ve been pating ever since through ever-escalating “gubmint gibmees” and affirmative action and section 8 housing, including now vouchers so that the criminals can expand their operations into neighborhoods of middle-class working whites). Not much of a conversation once all the truth is stripped from it.
