I love my catz. I've had them for years. But they are basically useless bric-a-brac in the house. Anything seriously bad... house fire, tornado, whatever... happens, and they are on their own.

If we have a roman or byzantium style collapse, they are food that I will eat.

I'll cry. Grown man hiccup bawling. But I will eat them after I get over it.
