I sincerely doubt that. First of all, it would simply be an impossible task in this country. Secondly, it would create an instant army of millions, who are otherwise law abiding citizens, against any agency stupid enough to follow that order. Never happen.

That should be interesting. Somewhere, someone will decide they don't have anything to lose and all hell will break loose. The “authorities” have very limited numbers and are generally supremely overconfident. A recipe for disaster if ever there was one.

I have watched our towns overmanned SWAT team during their maneuvers and they looked like a bunch of Monkeys screwing a football. Of course they're deadly in the middle of the night against unarmed people in bed and their dogs.
