"I wish people wouldn't use Sun Yat Sen as an example of Hawaiian's registering foreigners as having been born there, because this happened so long ago before Hawaii even became a state. Something more recent would serve as a far better example, and Arpaio's Cold Case Posse asserted that they had such proof.
Apart from that, rxsid recently posted an article regarding a man who was born in Brisbane Australia, but who claims to have a Hawaiian birth certificate.

Such a document would do much to open people's eyes to the notion that Hawaii's documents cannot be trusted at face value. "

I believe the point that people are trying to make when posting the Sun Yat Sen Hawaiian COLB is that the Hawaiian birth certificate fraud has been going on for a very long time. It shows just how ridiculous their documentation system is...and has been. Even a famous Chinese revolutionary, who clearly was not born in HI, can obtain one of their COLBS.

As for the Australian who later obtained his very own HI COLB (according to him):

Note: I disagree with his assessment that he thinks he is therefore a natural born Citizen of the U.S. The point here, being, that he alleges to have been born in Brisbane Australia...but sometime later in life, obtained a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth.

If he would be willing to SHOW both his Brisbane birth certificate AND his Hawaiian birth certificate, and attest that he is a foreign born person who posesses a Hawaiian birth certificate, it would help blow the lid off of people's lack of understanding regarding Hawaii.

I thought I had read something regarding you having been in contact with him. If this is the case, do you suppose you could ask him if he might be willing to provide copies of his documents? They would be incalculably useful.
