McCain was a total dumb ass to ever allow Schmidt and Wallace to be on his campaign staff. They were Romney people, of course they wanted Romney to be VP, the second he was not chosen, they decided to sabotage the campaign, which wasn’t hard to do, since McCain himself didn’t even try to win..as far as I’m concerned, John McCain caused Sarah Palin to lose the election. Could have given a rats butt about McCain becoming President, I wanted Sarah Palin in the White House

McCain is an idiot, like all moderates. He puts a premium on “getting along.”

Recall that he really believed he was the media darling?

I still laugh at his stupidity.

Sarah belongs in the White House as our president.

I pray for her without failure every day.

I know you do too.

John McCain caused Sarah Palin to lose the election.

Yup, McCain and his *staff* lost the election and Sarah tried to win it, that is an excellent way to look at it.

Schmidt and Wallace ran the worst campaign in US history. If what you say that they were Romney people, then we have an inside job at work. I suspect they did it to insure that McCain lost and set up 2012 for Romney. They knew that if McCain were elected, he would get a 2nd term and keep Romney from the White House for eight years. They tried to use Sarah Palin to drag down the campaign. They tossed her into the interviews, hoping the networks would tear her down enough to hurt the campaign. If anything, that tactic did not work as well as the Saturday Night Live lie. I knew the fix was in when the McCain team did not counter the Saturday Night Live smear job.

I think McCain was so caught up with Sarah Palin, that he did not watch his campaign close enough to figure out his campaign was being sabotaged. It shows what an inept president he would have been.

Given what happened on September, when the Bush Administration gave away the store, McCain immediately became irrelevant. Recall how Bush’s Democrat Secretary of the Treasury, dissed Sarah after McCain introduced her on the phone. “How dare she call me by my first name.”
