I worked on one diesel.
The USS Bonefish, SS 582

The air just reeks of diesel.
It’s everywhere.
But the 637 class boats left you reeking of Amine.

One of my old shipmates was on SS 582 when the batterys took on seawater and blew..

I never knew until today that there was a picture. I think 4 men were lost.
