I know where the Temple is. Across the street from Lincoln Center. They use to advertise like crazy on late night TV during the 1970s.

Did you convert any Catholics on your mission? Or anyone for that matter?

Odd since the temple wasn’t built until the 1990’s or later.

I ended up not serving my LDS mission because of an illness and a marriage proposal. I ended up not marrying the guy either and left the Mormon church less than a year later.

I did however convert 4 Catholic friends before I started training and I have converted many more OUT of Mormonism since I left. I also know 6 other Mormons who converted from practicing Catholicism.

And, yes, I admit now that I did lie to them about what LDS doctrine really was and used terms that sounded Christian to make it more palatable.
