How many times has Rand Paul been interviewed by Sean Hannity?
Does anyone have a number? Is is weekly?
It usually starts like this:
Sean: "I've asked your father Ron Paul to come on the show but for some reason he won't. I ask all the candidates the tough questions. I invite all the candidates on the show. Some take take the opportunity more than others..."
Rand: "I've told him he should come on your program."......
Sean: [then the interview with Rand Paul proceeds].
How nice of Sean to give Rand an open invitation to be on his show (with a nod that he's a "surrogate") because his father "won't" come on his show.
How convenient. Rand gets to promote himself. Someone who has said: ‘It Would Be An Honor’ if Romney Asked Him to Be VP
The article LINKED and excerpted below was recently published in the American Spectator. The author believes the GOP has a chance to win with a Romney-Paul (son) alliance and connects the dots that there is a Romney-Paul (father) alliance.

I stopped listening to Hannity because {among other short comings} he pimps his "coming up" top guest at 3:15 and they show up at 5:45, so I had to listen to two and a half hours of crap to hear 5 minutes of the guest that I wanted to hear.
No more.
If he has someone I want to see on TV I'll catch that segment, but no great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, BS panel with that fat pig beckel, or any other commie rats.

Hannity’s act has gone stale. The “great great great” American panel on TV is boring and annoying. His radio show is boring, and he mostly shills whatever concert he is trying to sell tickets to. He talks tough, but when he interviews a guest he just throws softballs.
Rush Limbaugh will always be the king of radio. Mark Levin is great too.
Sean kids himself if he thinks he’s impartial.
If not, he’s contemptuous of his audience.

Hannitys show is like groundhog day. Same show every day, day in and day out. I tire of him.
Yes, he’ll get tons of media coverage, but the base will not trust him after running with Romney. What was the name of that Herman CAin book? “They Think You’re Stupid”

It would have made everyone else in America a little suspicious if he hadn’t.
Rand is one of the few true conservatives in the Senate when it comes to fiscal matters. He is not quite as far out in left field as his father on foreign policy (though he is still out there) and is, like his father, very libertarian on social issues.
All in all, he is a better Republican Senator than the vast majority of them (compare him to Lindsey Graham, John McCain, the evil twin sisters from Maine, Mitch McConnell and... well, most of them).
He supports his father tilting at windmills? So what? He is looking to be a player on the national stage? So what? They are all poiticians and they are all ambitious.
All voters can do is select the politician running that will most advance their own, personal, views. I may take a bit of heat on this site but Rand is okay with me. His views and mine align on quite a few issues. His father? That’s a different story.
Knocking a conservative Senator for campaigning with his goofy father is just silly.
Well, from where I'm sitting a lot of them are. The rest of Paul's cult following..??... -- most likely LIBS working to to see a Paul-led (pick your Paul) 3rd Party to split the Right and keep the Left holding the reigns until the last bit of life has been squeezed out of this Republic.
Rand has gone beyond supporting his father, he has attacked the other candidates as LIBERALS.
When you stop to think about it, this alliance with Ron Paul is almost pathetically humorous.
Romney has a history of buying up weak companies, gutting them, selling off the scraps then making a fortune for himself.
IMO, this is exactly what he is doing with the naive Rands. He has bought off their ‘company’ and, when the time is right, he will strip it bare, fire everyone and capitalize on what’s left.
If you thought you have seen crazy ol’ Ron Paul go bat crap crazy, just wait until he catches on to Romney’s scheme to use him AND his son as pawns.

In the world of Rand Paul, they ARE liberals. I may disagree with the Senator, of course, but I am at a complete loss to remember a campaign where any politicians didn’t viciously attack each other when it suited their long-term goals.
They certainly can’t campaign on Romney’s “severely” conservative record so the only option is destroy the opposition to advance your own agenda.
All that being said, I am still hoping Newt finds a way to get back into the fray. Then he can go nuclear on Romney — and the Pauls (I would love to see him do it) — and I certainly will not care.

That would depend on who is financing Paul. He puts out a call and pulls in a million. Then again there is his billionaire PAC angel that has never met him, "But he [Peter Thiel] has told friends and political allies that he hopes to build a libertarian movement that can compete for political dominance in American politics."
This faction could well be waiting for a 2016 run.

Peter Thiel and Romney have something in common. They are both venture capitalists, given their successes in their field, they chose carefully what or whom they invest in.
Is it too far fetched to consider that venture capitalists may unite for a common goal to achieve future benefits?
Romney, whatever you may think about him, is no fool. The biggest mistake he could make is let it be known that he was backing Paul to keep him in the race, directly or indirectly.
Thiel knows that Paul will never be a viable candidate for president but being a wise investor he knows Romney can be.
In my opinion, Thiel is the ‘cash cow’ for Paul to supplant Romney’s inability to do so.
Ture that! I’m beginning to wonder just how the GOP-e think they are going to get and keep a majority in congress if they keep beating down their own base.
