So far, this looks like a good morning for Rick Santorum. A new poll in Michigan shows him clinging to a narrow four-point lead over native son Mitt Romney, he’s made the ballot in Indiana after a recount, and women are flocking to his side even after a week of the media hype over contraception.

Well Tuesday should be fun. Hopefully a lot of Gingrich supporters come out and vote for Santorum to defeat Romney. And some meddling democrats couldn't hurt either.

Romney made ‘private contractors’ ILLEGAL
in Massachusetts (under RomneyCARE, will be
BREAKING NEWS shortly).

So is Michigan REALLY full of dog abusers
and haters of small business and private contractors?

Exactly. The way to keep this election alive is to do what you just suggested.

In Michigan: A Vote for Santorum = a vote for Rick Santorum
A Vote for Santorum = a vote for Newt Gingrich
Romney MUST Lose Michigan for Conservatives to Win

These poll numbers for Santorum aaren't as reliable as some think. In MO, CO and MN his polling numbers greatly underestimated his strength in those states. I hope the same trend continues next Tuesday.

Does MI have a sizable LDS population?

Rasmussen has Mitt +6 in MI and +13 in AZ. Rasmussen has spoken, it is F’ing over. The GOP is going to nominate another “it’s my turn” candidate and the base should now voice it’s displeasure non-stop from now until August. I want to spend the next 6 months giving the establishment heartburn. When polled, conservatives should just say they are going to stay home in November. Let’s force Mitt to actually reach out to conservatives and tell the mushy middle to Go to H#$%!

Gingrich, since he’s basically pulling out of Michigan, ought to instruct his supporters to back Santorum. Give Mitt RomneyCare-Rontard Paul corrupt alliance a taste of their medicine.

I really believe that Rasmussen has sold out, like so many other pollsters. He has consistently shown everyone losing to the Ø.

Your post makes a ton of sense, but we’re talking about Santorum here. Let’s say Gingrich pulled out all the stops and encouraged everyone to vote for Rick to defeat Romney with the idea that Rick would return the favor on Super Tuesday. I have a sinking feeling that if Rick won MI he would then renege on the agreement and campaign like crazy AGAINST Newt in the South.

“I really believe that Rasmussen has sold out, like so many other pollsters. He has consistently shown everyone losing to the Ø.”

Shooting the messenger doesn’t change the message. He consistently shows everyone losing to Obozo for a reason. THEY ARE!

Just make a trip to the nearest Walmart and look at the unwashed masses who live on welfare, food stamps, medicaid and unemployment as they buy their new big screen tv’s. For them, life doesn’t get any better than life under the marxist-in-chief. They get their news from the alphabet networks (when they even watch) and from Jon Stewart and actually get paid to NOT work. It is a sad state of affairs but it is what it is.

We are past the tipping point.

I still believe he’s wrong. Several of his polls directly contradict each other.

And no thanks to Wal-Mart. If I want that experience, I'll take a trip to a Mexican border town.

I don’t know. Rasmussen has been pretty reliable in the past few months. His poll results are making me very nervous. I hope you’re right.
