My steel trap recalls BO saying he wishes he were multilingual and that US students should be bilingual. I took his statement to mean that he only knows English. But he knows Arabic.

Multilingual would imply more than two.
He has only two. His mother tongue is Arabic, which he speaks perfectly, and then there’s English which he speaks like a pseudo intellectual poseur.
